The potentialities of the 3D Cell Explorer are increasing every single week thanks to our powerful BIOteam.
Imaging multi-layers of cells in 3D without markers or labels is of great interest for many researchers. Unfortunately, this was not possible until today.
At Nanolive this is not the case anymore: cells’ multi-layers were imaged or better, filmed. We took a time-lapse of FRCs’ multi-layers during which we could even observe a pretty nice mitosis. Fibroblastic reticular cells (FRCs) were grown to 100% confluence. Due to a genetic mutation (p53 Knockout) they kept on growing on top of each other.
